Tribal Fusion Belly Dancing

About

New video HERE

True to the original spirit of American Tribal Style, Samantha’s improvised Tribal Fusion routines combine skills gleaned from her studies with the creators of the genre in the USA with that of her own self taught background in the UK.  Elegant and classic, strong in carriage: Fusing Victorian costume aesthetics, hip hop/modern dance movement strangeness, a respectful take on World Folk dances and professional versatility.

Starting her dance journey in 2005 thanks to Carolena Nericcio and Rachel Brice, she joined The Bellydance Superstars two years later, the first European to do so and has toured internationally full-time since 2007 also featuring on several BDSS DVDs.
She continues to travel globally, instructing intensive workshops and performs both solo and collaboratively with artists such as Zoe Jakes, Sharon Kihara and Elizabeth Strong.

Samantha is a committed teacher as well as performer and known for her accessible approach to teaching. She is fast becoming known for her fun, engaging performance style, making audiences the world over smile.

Last year Samantha became the first Tribal Fusion instructor to receive the new Fat Chance Belly Dance ATS General Studio Teacher Certification, Level One.

Samantha is happily based in Devon (UK) with Oscar and Spindle from where she now offers private tuition, coaching and workshops in her private studio on Dartmoor.
